Always loved this song, even before Bruce started playing w/the Dead.

anyone know any stand-out versions during his run w/the Boys?

Very few times played. The Oakland 12-30-90 gets a lot of play .The dead head hour had it and it's on Hornsby's box set. Problem is that they abandoned it before they could tweak it so most versions are similar. A cool tune live in person. Compton terrace was bouncing around like you wouldn't believe and people were still singing it in the bathroom during set break.

You could also try this one for a comparison (it's rare for me to be able to say 'I was there'). It got Wembley rocking though, and that's no mean feat.
